Woolton Woods Litter Pick and Practical Clean up Morning 22nd March

The litter pick ran from 10am to 12.30 which attracted 24 volunteers on the morning. Thirty-none rubbish bags with a general mix of items filling a one half metric tonne trailer, the rubbish was disposed of to the Otterspool tip the same day.

Donations Raised from St James Charity Table Sale 7th March

The table sale on Saturday 7th March was a success. One hundred and one people turned up for the event, through the sale of donated items we managed to raise £472.30. Thank you to all the volunteers who gave their free time to help, especially those who provided the scrummy cakes.

I’d like to give special congratulations to Mavis Martin who rents one of the tables out at our events. Through a number of similar events, Mavis has managed to raise over £4000 in aid of people suffering sight loss related to diabetes. Very well done Mavis.
